Suh The Scholar is a Korean revolutionary, martial artist, stem cell scientist, and hip-hop emcee with freestyle cypher roots in Cypher Univercity. though she is by trade a biomedical engineer, she finds herself self-expressing through hip-hop. she takes influence from those that combine the personal and political as teachers, such as KRS One and Lupe Fiasco; those versed in freestyle and battle rap, such as Loaded Lux and Papoose; and those who paved the road for southern storytelling, such as OutKast. she resides in NC, where she is pursuing her PhD in stem cell science, but can occasionally be found in NYC and the DMV.
